The project is based on the SCIENCE FIT team's extensive experience in systematically preparing knowledge and technology transfer projects in SMEs. The SCIENCE FIT team proactively approaches SMEs, including startups, to identify and develop specific cooperation potential with scientific institutions and innovative ideas. The team also provides neutral assistance in finding partners with technological or scientific expertise and supports individual project development. In addition, an annual event called "Meet Hidden Champions" is organized.
SCIENCE FIT is a technology and knowledge transfer network that brings together major Styrian research institutions under one brand, without additional infrastructure investments. Project team members approach companies, gather on-site questions, and demonstrate possible forms of cooperation through concrete topics. The team acts as a neutral mediator and is committed to strict confidentiality. The SCIENCE FIT project, which is financed by the Styrian Chamber of Commerce, the Styrian government, and the city of Graz, offers Styrian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) the opportunity to benefit from scientific expertise from Styrian research institutions.
